City Introduction
All presentations and offline activities will be held at Guangzhou, China.
Guangzhou boasts a rich history, vibrant culture, and a dynamic urban landscape. You can explore the iconic Canton Tower (which offers stunning city views especially at night), Chen Clan Ancestral Hall (to admire exquisite Lingnan architectural craftsmanship), Shamian Island (with its well-preserved colonial-era buildings), and stroll along the Pearl River for captivating evening cruises. To experience Guangzhou’s local lifestyle, head to Liwan Lake Park or join the morning tea culture at a century-old dim sum restaurant. If you enjoy shopping and modern trends, Beijing Road Pedestrian Street and Tianhe CBD offer endless options. As a culinary capital, Guangzhou is famous for its authentic Cantonese cuisine, with food streets like Shangxiajiu and Baohua Road gathering a wide variety of traditional snacks and delicacies loved by locals.
Guangzhou also embodies a blend of innovation and open economic vitality. The city actively promotes scientific literacy and technological integration into everyday life. For instance, through platforms like the "Guangzhou Science Popularization Month," thousands of interactive events are organized each year, engaging residents and students in creative learning. Projects such as "Guangzhou Sci-Tech Innovation Week" encourage public participation in emerging fields like artificial intelligence and digital manufacturing. Additionally, Guangzhou is accelerating the development of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macau Greater Bay Area as an international technology and innovation hub, driving forward its vision of a future-ready city.
